To what extent does digital distribution effect the marketing and consumption of media products in the media area you have studied

Digital distribution effects the marketing and consumption of media products by blurring the production, distribution and exhibition of music in the music industry. It therefore devalues the music as it can be produced and exhibited by people, called prosumers.
The ability to be able to get your own music out there to consumers so easily, through websites such as YouTube and soundcloud has made it accessible to a wider range of people. Things such as xfactor could also be clased as digital distribution as the songs being performed by the acts on the show are songs that syco own the rights to. This means that they advertise the song and will benefit from any sales. This has effected music products because it can take away from the original meaning of the song, devaluing it.

Age stereotype

Cultural norm- what society expects

Youth- rebellion

Sexuality

Mise en scene and sound
The Mise en Scene shows that they are both feminine and gentle. This is because The costumes are silken and one women has a shorter dress. This would portray the stereotype of the relationship between the two women as sympathetic but it may also show the relationship as sexualised when one woman hovers her hand over the other.

The prop shows red paint. this could show portray lust or love because red is associated with these themes.

Camera angles
Composition shows power
Shots of her breasts shows she's the main focus of the shot
